Inland Marine Risk Consulting and Claims- We are well-experienced with Fleet Operator’s VPD, Warehouseman’s Legal Liability, Motor Truck Cargo Legal Liability, Contractor’s Equipment accounts, and Inland Marine Property. We also have experience with other Inland Marine lines of business, to include Broadcast Equipment, Infrastructure, Difference-in-Condition, etc.
Project Cargo Management Services- As per specific contract. This may include review of Survey Notification Form, Assignment of Survey Firm, monitoring all work in progress, reporting to principals, processing of invoices.
Cargo Security Risk Assessments- Cargo Security Risk Assessments are based upon Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Facility Security Requirements and Trucking Security Requirements, with an emphasis on security policy, procedures, and practice, and Physical Security measures.
Warehouse Risk Assessments- Warehouse Risk Assessments focus on Fire Protection, security policies and procedures, physical security, and NatCat exposures and mitigation. Where applicable, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10, 13, 25, and Transported Assets Protection Association (TAPA) standards are referenced.
Marine Liability Risk Assessments- We are Ports, Terminals, and Shipyard experts. Items reviewed may include site security, safety and loss prevention programs, fire protection, preventive maintenance programs, past loss history, hiring and training practices, environmental exposures, NatCat exposures and mitigation.
Cargo Damage and P&I Claims Surveys and Investigations- Services include investigating the Cause, Nature and Extent of damage, collecting pertinent documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, proof of delivery, voyage and cargo details, witness statements, police reports for theft, etc. Preservation of subrogation rights, attendance at joint surveys, etc. We also provide assistance in arranging for salvage sales of damaged goods and vehicles, removal of damaged transport vehicles to lower cost storage, etc.
Recreational Marine Facilities (Marinas and Boatyards) Property and Liabilities Claims and Loss Prevention: Services include Marina Loss Prevention Surveys, Boatyard Loss Prevention Surveys, Dry Storage facilities, physical damage to docks and other facilities, Marina Operators and Ship Repairer’s Legal Liability claims.
